A collection of Kabuki actors' artistic talks. Written by Onoe Baiko VI. Published in 1930. A collection of the artistic talks serialized in Engei Gaho from 1927 to 1929. Iguchi Masashi writes about the knowledge of the roles, costumes, wigs, and props, which he has studied from oral tradition and years of observation. The artistic talks about the "family art" of the Otowaya family are particularly excellent, making this a must-read for Kabuki actors and a valuable document for researchers as well. Since the first edition was not for sale, it was reprinted in 1934. At that time, Matsuda Seifu's "Study on Wigs" and recollections of 26 members of the various families were added, but in 1953 it was republished with these removed.

歌舞伎俳優の芸談集。6世尾上梅幸著。1930年刊。《演芸画報》に1927年から29年まで連載された芸談を集める。歌舞伎の口伝や多年にわたる見聞から研究した役柄の心得，衣装･鬘･小道具にいたる詳細を，井口政治が記述。音羽屋代々の〈家の芸〉についての芸談はとりわけすぐれ，歌舞伎俳優の必読書であり，研究者にとっても貴重な文献となっている。初版本が非売品であったため，34年再版を刊行。その際，松田青風の《鬘の研究》および諸家26名の追憶談も加えたが，53年にはそれらを削除して復刊されている。
