A city in central Hokkaido. Hiroshima Town, Sapporo County, was incorporated as a city on September 1, 1996. It borders Sapporo City to the southeast, and is served by the Chitose Line and the Do-o Expressway. The eastern part is part of the Ishikari Plain, which was developed by people from Hiroshima Prefecture. Vegetable and dairy farming are the main agricultural products, but since the 1970s, the Kitahiroshima and industrial parks have been developed, and urbanization has progressed. The vast Nopporo Primeval Forest (a special natural monument) stretches between Sapporo City and Ebetsu City, and the Clark Memorial are located here. Area: 119.05 ^km2 . Population: 60,353 (2010).

北海道中央部の市。1996年９月１日札幌郡広島町が市制。札幌市の南東に接し，千歳線，道央自動車道が通じる。東部は石狩平野の一部で，広島県人が開拓。農業は野菜栽培や酪農を行うが，1970年代から北広島団地や工業団地の造成が進み，都市化が進む。札幌市，江別市との間に広がる広大な野幌原始林（特別天然記念物），クラーク記念碑がある。119.05km²。６万353人（2010）。
