Close-range competition

Japanese: 近的競技 - きんてききょうぎ
Close-range competition
It is a type of archery competition in which the archer shoots from a sitting position. The shooting distance is 28m, and the target is a circular one with a diameter of 36cm. Each player has one target, and the basic number of shots per round is two or four. There are three competition methods: hit-to-target, score-based, and judging. In hit-to-target, the number of arrows that hit the target is determined by the number of points earned per target frame, while in judging, the overall result, including the competitor's movements, is judged to be the winner.
