Santoponce

…An ancient city in the northwest of Seville in southern Spain. Its current name is Santiponce. It was founded by the Roman commander Scipio the Elder, who defeated the Carthaginian army at the Battle of Ilipa (206 BC) during the Second Punic War (also known as the Hannibal War), to house his wounded soldiers.
