Climate Map - Kikouzu

A diagram showing climate. There are many different types of climate phenomena, and a variety of diagrams are created depending on the purpose of their representation. The most typical diagram is the climate classification diagram, but there are also change diagrams (daily and annual changes) showing changes in climatic elements, distribution maps, and cross-sectional diagrams. Diagrams other than the climate classification diagram can be expressed in a variety of ways, such as isopleths (isotherms or isohydraulics) or symbols, depending on how many elements are to be represented on the diagram.

気候を表現した図。気候現象はさまざまであり、また表現する目的から多様な図がつくられる。もっとも代表的な図は気候区分図であるが、このほかに気候要素の変化を示した変化図（日変化、年変化）あるいは分布図や断面図がある。気候分類図以外の図の表現には、どれだけの要素を図上に表現するかにより、等温線あるいは等雨量線などの等値線（アイソプレス）あるいは記号などさまざまな表示方法がある。
