League Match - League Match (English)

A format in which various sports federations (associations) set a certain date and period for member teams to play the same number of games against each other. As opposed to a rivalry match. For example, in the Tokyo Big Six Baseball League, the federation plays round-robin games between the six universities, with two or three rounds (if the score is 1 win and 1 loss). A match format in which rankings are decided by league matches makes it easy to calculate the winning percentage, and many professional and national-level league matches have been organized recently, such as the J League in soccer and the V League in volleyball. Professional baseball is also a typical league format. League matches are more American-style, while in Europe there are more rivalry matches.
