Takanori Kyogoku
1858-1928 A member of the aristocracy from the Meiji to early Showa period.
Born on November 5, 1858. Son of Kyogoku Takamine. Adopted by his uncle Kyogoku Akiyuki, lord of Marugame Domain in Sanuki (Kagawa Prefecture). Studied at the Peerage School. Worked at the Aoyama Imperial Palace, served as a vassal to the Crown Prince, and became a member of the House of Peers in 1890. Viscount. Died on May 21, 1828, aged 71. Childhood names were Hisanosuke and Kyujiro.

安政5年11月5日生まれ。京極高岑の子。叔父の讃岐(さぬき)(香川県)丸亀藩主京極朗徹(あきゆき)の養嗣子となる。華族学校にまなぶ。青山御所勤務,東宮祗候(しこう)をへて,明治23年貴族院議員。子爵。昭和3年5月21日死去。71歳。幼名は久之助,久次郎。
