Japanese: 名臣言行録 - めいしんげんこうろく

Chinese biography. 75 volumes. Written by Zhu Xi. It is a compilation of five books: "Records of the Words and Deeds of Famous Ministers of the Five Dynasties" (10 volumes), "Records of the Words and Deeds of Famous Ministers of the Three Dynasties" (14 volumes), "Records of the Words and Deeds of Famous Ministers of the Imperial Court" (8 volumes), "Records of the Words and Deeds of Famous Ministers of the Four Dynasties" (26 volumes each), and "Records of the Words and Deeds of Famous Ministers of the Imperial Court's Way of Learning" (17 volumes). The current edition is called the first collection, the second collection, the sequel collection, the second collection, the third collection, and the third collection. It is a collection of the words and deeds of loyal and righteous men from the Northern and Southern Song dynasties, collected from their books and biographies, and is intended to be a teaching for the world.

中国の伝記。七五巻。朱熹撰。「五朝名臣言行録」一〇巻、「三朝名臣言行録」一四巻と、朱熹にならって李幼武が撰した「皇朝名臣言行録」八巻、「四朝名臣言行録」上下二六巻、「皇朝道学名臣言行外録」一七巻の五書を合冊したもの。現行本では前集・後集・続集・別集・外集と称する。北宋・南宋の忠臣義人らの言行を著書や伝記から集録し、世の教えとしようとしたもの。
