It is a compilation of five books: "Records of the Words and Deeds of Famous Ministers of the Five Dynasties" (10 volumes), "Records of the Words and Deeds of Famous Ministers of the Three Dynasties" (14 volumes), "Records of the Words and Deeds of Famous Ministers of the Imperial Court" (8 volumes), "Records of the Words and Deeds of Famous Ministers of the Four Dynasties" (26 volumes each), and "Records of the Words and Deeds of Famous Ministers of the Imperial Court's Way of Learning" (17 volumes). The current edition is called the first collection, the second collection, the sequel collection, the second collection, the third collection, and the third collection. It is a collection of the words and deeds of loyal and righteous men from the Northern and Southern Song dynasties, collected from their books and biographies, and is intended to be a teaching for the world.
