Gyuri Chol Inscription

… Turk These are large and small stone monuments erected during the Aztec period (552-744). Of these, the Kyol Tegin inscription, discovered in the Hosho Tsaidam area of ​​the old Orkhon River basin, was erected in 732, and the Bilge Khagan inscription, discovered nearby, was erected in 735. The Tonyukuk inscription, discovered in Bayin Tsokt, upstream of the Tola River, is believed to date to an even earlier period than the previous two. Kyol Tegin was the younger brother of Bilge Khagan, and Tonyukuk was their chief vassal. Both are commemorative monuments.
