Nine peaks stand tall, and the area is blessed with scenic beauty of oddly shaped rocks, bizarre stones, and streams. At the foot of the mountain are Kejoji Temple, Gionji Temple, and Jiuzi Temple, and many worshippers visit the sacred place of Jizo faith. It is also famous as the place where Wang Yangming (Wang Shouren) of the Ming Dynasty realized the principle of "realizing one's innate knowledge of good."
