Reverse extrusion

...Products made by extrusion include aluminum sash materials for window frames, bars, shapes, and tubes made of aluminum, copper, and their alloys, as well as stainless steel and special steel tubes. When pushing out materials from a container, there are two methods: forward extrusion (positive extrusion), in which the entire material is pushed from the back of the material toward the outlet like tokoroten, and backward extrusion (reverse extrusion), in which a die like a perforated plug is pushed into the material. The terms forward and positive mean that the direction of the force applied is the same as the direction the product flows out, while backward and reverse mean that they are opposite to each other.
