After the Taika Reforms, the Kibi Dazai was established as the governor of the entire Kibi region and Harima until 700 (Bunbu 4), but after the Jinshin War, the three provinces of Bizen, Bitchu, and Bingo were separated, and in 713 (Wado 6), Bizen was separated from Mimasaka, losing its unity as a political organization. The title of Kibi kuni no miyatsuko was given to Kamimichi Hida-to in 757 (Tenpyo Hoji 1), which is the last example of Kibi's former unity. ...
