Kudzu net - Kazuraami

...Their lifestyle was characterized by the fact that they did not own any land on land, and the entire family lived on a boat called a iebune. They did not use pole and line fishing, but instead collected abalone mainly by diving or by using a spear from a boat, and by a very primitive group fishing method called kazuraami. Their center of distribution was Mukojima, Seto (now Oseto Town), and Nakato, Sakito Town, in Nishisonogi County, Nagasaki Prefecture, and from there they dispersed to Kashinoura on Fukue Island in the Goto Islands, Iki, and Tsushima.
