There are many temples in the mountains. Xiaoqingliangshan. [2] Another name for “Shuyōzan (Shouyang Mountain).” [3] A mountain in Lingling County, Hunan Province, China (Yongzhou during the Tang Dynasty). [4] The name of a place in Hitachiota City, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is the site of Nishiyamaso Villa, where Tokugawa Mitsukuni retired and compiled the "Dai Nihonshi."

Nishiyama [West mountain]

〘noun〙① A mountain in the west. Seizan. ② In particular, a range of mountains to the west of Heian-kyo or Kyoto city. The mountain range that limits the west of the Kyoto Basin. It starts in the north at Atagoyama in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City, and ends in the south at Tennozan in Oyamazaki Town , Otokuni County, Kyoto Prefecture. It is also the common name for the mountainous and hilly region. There are many ancient shrines, temples, and scenic spots. Western Hill. *From Tonbo (around 974): "Thinking that I would leave my life behind for a while, I found a sacred temple on Nishiyama."
