〘Noun〙 The title of a position in the Kamakura and Muromachi Shogunates. It was in charge of the granting of ranks and appointments to vassals and other officials. ※Sono Tairyaku - February 2, 1349 (Teiwa 5) "As the magistrate of the samurai's official career, I would like to take this into consideration."
