Inscriptions from the Han dynasty in China. There are few inscriptions from the early Han dynasty, and the style of writing is that of ancient clerical script, but there are a huge number of inscriptions from the later Han dynasty, and the elegant eight-part script was used, which led to the development of artistic calligraphy. The Confucius Temple Ritual Instruments Stele and the Cao Quan Stele are representative posthumous works of clerical script from the later Han dynasty, and are considered models of clerical script.
