Eye pattern - Ganjomon

Japanese: 眼状紋 - がんじょうもん
Eye pattern - Ganjomon

...Other interesting examples of aggressive mimicry include fireflies that mimic the glow of other fireflies to lure males and then prey on them (light mimicry), and the bumblebee spider that attracts males with the same scent as the sex pheromones released by female moths and then captures and eats them with a mucus thread (smell mimicry). In addition, butterflies and fishes that have eye-shaped patterns on parts of their bodies to scare off predators or to focus the enemy's attack on the fake eyes and escape can also be considered as signaling mimicry in a broad sense.
[Intraspecific mimicry]
Both cryptic and signaling mimicry are effective against other species, but they are distinguished by intraspecific mimicry, which is effective against members of the same species.

From [Eyeball Pattern]

…also called eye patterns. They are found in butterflies such as the owl butterfly and the peacock butterfly, moths such as the saturday moth and the campanula moth, and also in fish, squids, frogs, and other animals. They are similar to the eyes of vertebrates.
