A species of the genus Aspergillus in the order Moniliales of imperfect fungi. This mold grows on glass (such as lenses), film, and metal (such as swords) with a small amount of organic matter when there is a certain amount of moisture in the air. As a result, glass surfaces and film become cloudy, and metal surfaces become rusty. 不完全菌類モニリア目,コウジカビ属の1種。このカビはガラス (レンズなど) ,フィルム,金属 (刀剣など) 上のわずかな有機物の上に,空気中に一定の湿気があると成長する。その結果ガラス面やフィルムには曇りが生じ,金属には錆が生じる。
