Abe Sada Incident

A bizarre crime in the early Showa period. On May 18, 1936, Abe Sada, who was staying at the Masaki teahouse in Ogu, Arakawa, Tokyo, killed Ishida Kichizo, the owner of the same inn's restaurant, with a thin rope, wrote "Sada and Kichi" in blood on the man's thigh, cut off his male genitalia, and fled with them. On the 20th of the same month at 5:30 pm, she was arrested by officers from Takanawa police while staying at an inn in front of Shinagawa Station under a false name. In an oppressive era of militarism and right-wing terrorism, this crime attracted attention as a bizarre crime with a human touch.

昭和初期の猟奇事件。 1936年5月 18日，東京荒川尾久の待合「まさき」に泊っていた阿部定は，同宿の料理屋経営石田吉蔵を細紐で殺し，男の大腿に血で「定・吉二人」と書き，男性器を切断，所持したまま逃走。同月 20日午後5時半，品川駅前の旅館に偽名で泊っているところを高輪署員に逮捕された。軍国主義と右翼テロの重苦しい時代風潮のなかで人間臭い猟奇事件として話題をさらった。
