A Buddhist cave temple in Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. It is famous for its four giant Buddha statues, including a 40-foot-long reclining Buddha statue carved from the rock outcrop. It is thought to have been built in the late 12th century during the reign of King Parakramabahu I.
