...There are also works that are strongly influenced by Meriyasu (Inabune, Komachi, Kisen, etc.). At the end of the Edo period, Ogie Satohachi (3rd Kiyomoto Saibei), who created the foundation of today's Ogie-bushi, appeared, incorporating jiuta pieces such as Kane no Misaki, Yashima, and Yamamba, and adding new pieces such as Hakkei Fukagawa, Matsu, Take, and Ume, strengthening its originality from Nagauta and completing Ogie-bushi (until then it was called Ogie-style Nagauta or Ogie-ryu Nagauta). After the death of the 4th generation, Royu, it has been passed down by female performers, and it has become one of the "kokyoku" along with Kawato-bushi, Itchu-bushi, and Miyazono-bushi....
