Karanlook Kirisse - Karanlook Kirisse

There are more than 300 in total, about 150 of which have murals. The Tokar Kilise and Karanlık Kilise in the Göreme region are particularly famous. These cave churches became widely known through the research of the French priest Gerfanon, who conducted them from 1907 to 1940.
