Mount Kamon

...At the summit is an elliptical caldera that is long from east to west, containing the crater lake Haruna Lake and the central cone of Haruna Fuji (1,391m) with its conical shape. The outer rim that forms the caldera walls is made up of the highest peak, Kamongatake (1,449m), as well as Eboshigatake, Bingushiyama, and Tenmokuyama. Around Murota and Miyazawa on the southern foot, a wide plateau has been formed by the accumulation of thick pumice flows that flowed out when the caldera was formed.
