…それは，騒動勢が藩から譲歩をかちとったことを喜ぶとともに，団結を誓う象徴として〈四原世直大明神　総氏子　在中　町中〉と記した高札が立てられたものであった。ついで36年(天保7)の三河鴨騒動(加茂一揆)では，騒動は世直し大明神の現罰であるとする主張がなされたというが，これは渡辺政香の《鴨の騒立（さわだち）》だけにある記述で，確定しがたい。なお19世紀半ばまでは，騒動とは関係なく，世直し大明神が使われる場合も少なくなかった。…
