…それは,騒動勢が藩から譲歩をかちとったことを喜ぶとともに,団結を誓う象徴として〈四原世直大明神 総氏子 在中 町中〉と記した高札が立てられたものであった。ついで36年(天保7)の三河鴨騒動(加茂一揆)では,騒動は世直し大明神の現罰であるとする主張がなされたというが,これは渡辺政香の《鴨の騒立(さわだち)》だけにある記述で,確定しがたい。なお19世紀半ばまでは,騒動とは関係なく,世直し大明神が使われる場合も少なくなかった。…
