A distinguished family of medieval Florence. The family continued to exist until the 19th century, but was at its height in the Middle Ages. The Acciaiuoli trading house was one of the city's leading trading houses, along with the Bardi trading house. The family produced the chief advisors to Queen Giovanna of Naples and funded the royal family's Greek expedition, leading to the family receiving the fief of Corinth in 1358. After 1394, members of the family held the title of duke of Athens, and ruled Athens, Corinth, and Thebes until the Ottoman Turks conquered the city in 1453.

中世フィレンツェの名門家族。家系は19世紀まで続いたが，中世がその最盛期であった。アッチャイウォーリAcciaiuoli商社はバルディ商社(バルディ家)等と並ぶ同市の代表的商社であった。ナポリ女王ジョバンナの首席顧問官を輩出したり，同王家のギリシア遠征の資金調達をしたことから，1358年同家はコリントを受封した。94年以降同家の一族はアテネ公位を獲得し，1453年のオスマン･トルコによる征服まで，アテネ，コリント，テーベを支配した。
