Kamikaze

Japanese:
Kamikaze

A wind that is said to blow with the power of a god. In Japan, where storms are common, there was a belief that if one disobeys the power of the gods, one will be punished by a kamikaze, due to the fear of the wind. A typical example in history is the destruction of Mongolian warships in Hakata Bay twice during the Bun'ei and Koan Invasions (1274 and 1281). Towards the end of World War II, the Japanese Navy Air Corps formed a kamikaze special attack unit based on this historical fact, and launched a desperate suicide attack on the enemy fleet in an attempt to somehow turn the tide of the war, but failed. The "kamikaze" of this time is world famous. Since these reckless kamikaze special attack units, around 1955 (Showa 30), taxis that drove recklessly and recklessly were called kamikaze taxis.
