Excess and deficiency calculation
The word "mandarin orange" is used to describe a type of problem that goes like this: "You are going to divide some oranges among several children. If you divide them into groups of six, you will have three oranges left over, but if you divide them into groups of seven, you will have four oranges short. How many children are there and how many oranges are there?"
