...During the development of manors in the 11th and 12th centuries, as a means of expanding manors, public fields cultivated by manors and public citizens who had part of their land in the manor were claimed as manor fields and were incorporated into the manor as annexed land to honmenden (menden), and such fields were called kanōden. Honmenden is called honden, while kanōden is also called kanōyoden or simply yoden. The Enkyu Manor Reorganization Order of 1069 aimed to collect such kanōyoden, along with the abolition and cessation of newly established manors after the Kantoku Reorganization Order of 1045. However, during the Insei period, the number of newly established manors increased, and existing manors were established as manors that could not be sold by adding vast kanōden. ...

…11～12世紀の荘園発展期において，荘地拡大の一手段として，荘民が出作している公田や，荘内に一部入作している公民の耕作する公田等を，荘田と主張し本免田(免田)の付属地として荘内にとり込むことをいい，そのような田地を加納田という。本免田を本田というのに対して，加納田は加納余田ないし単に余田ともいう。1069年の延久の荘園整理令は，1045年の寛徳整理令以後の新立荘園の停廃とともに，このような加納余田の収公を眼目としたが，院政期には新立荘園が増加するとともに，既存の荘園は広大な加納田を加えて，一円不輸の荘園として確立していった。…
