Gastein Convention
The German-Danish War ended in 1865 when Prussia and Austria signed an agreement to end the German-Danish War, which gave the Duchy of Schleswig to Prussia and the Duchy of Holstein to Austria. The two duchies were jointly owned by both countries, and this agreement led to the outbreak of the Prussian-Austrian War a year later.
