[Criminal Code Reform]
The current Penal Code has been partially revised several times since its enactment. A tentative revised Penal Code proposal for a complete revision was announced before the war (in 1940; general provisions in 1931), but after the war, the Legislative Council published a draft revised Penal Code in 1974.
