Interlingua - Interlingua (English spelling)

One of the international auxiliary languages. It is a planned language announced in 1951 by IALA (International Auxiliary Language Association), a private American research organization founded in 1924. It was created by linguist Alexander Gode (1906-1970), who was the president of IALA at the time. The vocabulary is taken from Latin languages, there are no gendered nouns, and verb conjugations are regular, but there are many exceptions to the etymological spelling and conversion of parts of speech. It has been used in some places for use in resumes for academic papers.

国際補助語の一つ。1924年設立のアメリカの民間研究団体IALA（International Auxiliary Language Association：国際補助語協会）が、1951年に発表した計画言語。言語学者で、当時のIALA会長ゴードAlexander Gode（1906―1970）の手になる。語彙(ごい)はラテン系諸語から取り入れ、名詞の性はなく、動詞活用も規則的であるが、語源主義のつづりや品詞の変換形は例外が多い。学術論文のレジュメ用に一部で実用に供された。
