[Ethnic minority literature]
There are cases where writers have emerged from ethnic groups that had no literature until the revolution (such as the Chukchi Yurii Rytkheu (1930-)), but in terms of literature, Jewish literature written mainly in Yiddish (Yiddish literature) is important.
