...The characteristics of the worship of Mount Tsukuba are that it has been centered on the belief in the god of agriculture, that it has spread over a wide area, but no Oshi villages have been formed and it has almost no independent faith area, and that while the number of pilgrims to the mountain is limited to ascetics as we go back in time, Mount Tsukuba has been a mountain that has been actively worshiped since ancient times, as seen in the Utagaki festivals in the Manyoshu and the legends of the gods of the mountains in the Hitachi no Kuni Fudoki. Its character as the guardian deity of agriculture is a representative example of the belief in the alternation of the god of the fields and the god of the mountains, and is clearly expressed in the Ozakawari rituals that are distributed nationwide and the Daido-ko events that are held in villages at the foot of the mountain to pray for a good harvest and safety throughout the year. …This is a Shinto Noh handed down at Sada Shrine in Sada, Kashima-cho, Yatsuka-gun, Shimane Prefecture. It is held on September 24th and 25th, and on the night of the Oza-kae Shinto Ritual on the 24th, a Shinto ritual of the seven seats is performed, and on the regular festival on the 25th, a Shinto ritual of the seven seats, Shiki Sanban, is celebrated and both are performed in the Kagura hall on the shrine grounds. The Oza-kae Shinto Ritual is a ritual in which the gods change their seats, and in the old days, it is said that all the priests from the three and a half districts under the jurisdiction of Sada Shrine (the three districts of Aika, Shimane, and Tatenui, and half of Ou district) gathered for this ritual. …

…島根県八束郡鹿島町佐陀の佐太神社に伝承される神能。9月24,25日に行われ，24日の御座(茣蓙)替神事の夜には七座の神事が，25日の例祭には御座替神事を奉祝して，七座の神事《式三番》神能がいずれも境内の神楽殿で演じられる。御座替神事は神々が座る御座を替える神事で，古くは佐太神社の触下（ふれした）3郡半(秋鹿（あいか），島根，楯縫の3郡と意宇（おう）郡の半分)の神職がことごとく集まって行ったという。…
