…In the middle of the Kamakura period, he became the land steward of Himono-sho in Omi Province, and in the latter part of the Kamakura period, he became a vassal of the Hojo clan member Tokoha Noritada, and wielded power as the head of the Rokuhara Tandai and as the deputy governor of Harima and other areas. In the Shochu Incident (1324), Ogushi Noriyuki attacked Tajimi Kuninaga (who supported Emperor Go-Daigo) and forced him to commit suicide. The waka poems of Ogushi Norihide, who served Rokuhara, are included in the Gyokuyo Wakashu and Zoku Senzai Wakashu. …
