Turtle barnacle (English name: Chelonibia testudinaria)
A marine animal of the order Sessile of the class Gnathopoda and the family Barnacleidae. The shell reaches a major axis of about 8 cm, but is only about 3 cm high. The shell is white and consists of six heavy plates. It is a barnacle that attaches to the shells of sea turtles (→ Barnacles) and is widely distributed from tropical to temperate seas.
