...In recent years, many people commute to factories in the neighboring towns of Kakizaki and Ogata. The area around Mt. Okami (757m) in the east is a tourist destination for camping and skiing. The ruins of medieval mountain castle, Nagamine Castle, can be found on the banks of Nagamine Pond.
