…(1) The Musashi Seven Clans, Ono Family, Inomata Clan. Originated in Okabe, Hanzawa County, Musashi Province (present Okabe Town, Osato County, Saitama Prefecture). It began when Inomata Tadakane's son Tadatsuna called himself Okabe Rokutayu. His grandson Roku Yata Tadazumi fought alongside Minamoto no Yoshitomo in the Hogen and Heiji Rebellions, and joined Yoshitsune's army as a retainer of Minamoto no Yoritomo in the Battle of Ichinotani, where he gained fame by killing Satsuma no Kami Taira no Tadatsugu. …
