Omachi Mountain Museum

Japanese: 大町山岳博物館 - おおまちさんがくはくぶつかん

A history museum in Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture. Founded in 1951, it introduces the mountain culture, history, and nature of the Northern Alps. Materials related to the ecology of alpine plants and animals and the history of mountaineering are on display. There is an attached garden where local plants and animals are raised and cultivated.
