Empain-Schneider is a holding company that is the core of the French conglomerate Empain-Schneider. Its headquarters are in Paris. In 1836, brothers Joseph Eugène Schneider (1805-75) and Adolphe Schneider (1802-45) acquired an arms factory in Le Creusot in central-eastern France. フランスの代表的な財閥アンパンシュネーデルEmpain‐Schneiderの中核企業である持株会社。本社パリ。1836年，ジョセフ･ユージェーヌ･シュネーデルJoseph Eugène Schneider(1805‐75)とアドルフ･シュネーデルAdolphe Schneider(1802‐45)の兄弟がフランス中東部ル･クルーゾの兵器工場を入手したのが始まり。19世紀後半には国内の大砲その他の兵器生産ではほぼ独占的な地位を確立した。
