Empain-Schneider is a holding company that is the core of the French conglomerate Empain-Schneider. Its headquarters are in Paris. In 1836, brothers Joseph Eugène Schneider (1805-75) and Adolphe Schneider (1802-45) acquired an arms factory in Le Creusot in central-eastern France.
