Japanese: 上峰[町] - かみみね

A town in Miyaki County in eastern Saga Prefecture. A long, narrow town stretching from north to south, bounded by the Sefuri Mountains, the alluvial plateau, and the alluvial lowlands. Since 1971, farmland has been developed in the southern creek area, and the town mainly produces rice and wheat. In 1979, the Saga Eastern Core Industrial Estate was developed, stretching from Kamimine Town to Yoshinogari Town. The town is home to the Futatsukayama ruins from the Yayoi period, and remains of the ancient jori system can also be seen. Area: 12.80 ^km2 . Population: 9,224 (2010).

佐賀県東部，三養基(みやき)郡の町。北から脊振(せふり)山地，洪積台地，沖積低地と続く南北に細長い町。1971年以降，南部クリーク地帯で圃場整備が進み，米麦作を中心とする農業を営む。1979年，上峰町から吉野ヶ里町にわたる佐賀東部中核工業団地を造成。弥生時代の二塚山遺跡などがあり，古代の条里制遺構もみられる。12.80km²。9224人（2010）。
