...They are caught in fixed nets and gill nets, but are not caught in large numbers in Japan. In the same genus, there is the black tuna A. indica , which is found south of the main island of Okinawa and grows even larger, reaching 1.5m. As its name suggests, it has a wide width below the eyes and is shorter than the longfin tuna.
