Compound fertilizer - Fukugohiryo

Fertilizers that contain two or more of the three elements of fertilizers: nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (potassium), and include compound fertilizers and chemical fertilizers. This is the name of fertilizers newly established by a partial revision of the Fertilizer Control Law in 1956 (Showa 31). However, fertilizers whose main components, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, are derived from animal and vegetable matter are called organic fertilizers and are distinguished from compound fertilizers. Some compound fertilizers contain the three elements of fertilizer as well as the trace elements magnesium, manganese, and boron. Most of the fertilizers actually consumed by farmers are compound fertilizers. There are various types of compound fertilizers, such as chemical fertilizers, molded compound fertilizers, adsorbed compound fertilizers, coated compound fertilizers, liquid compound fertilizers, compound fertilizers, and compound fertilizers for home gardening. There are also various brands of compound fertilizers that are designed to suit the type of crop, region, climate, type of soil, and fertilization method for vegetables, flowers, fruit trees, etc.

肥料の三要素である窒素、リン酸、カリ（カリウム）のうち2成分以上を含有する肥料のことで、配合肥料と化成肥料がこれに含まれる。1956年（昭和31）の肥料取締法の一部改正により新たに制定された肥料の名称である。ただし、主成分の窒素、リン酸、カリが動植物質に由来するものは有機質肥料といい、複合肥料とは区別される。複合肥料には肥料の三要素のほか微量要素のマグネシウム、マンガン、ホウ素を含有しているものもある。農家で実際に消費されるのは、ほとんどが複合肥料である。複合肥料には、化成肥料、成形複合肥料、吸着複合肥料、被覆複合肥料、液状複合肥料、配合肥料、家庭園芸用複合肥料などの種類がある。また、野菜、花、果樹などそれぞれ作物の種類、地域、気候、土壌の種類、施肥法などによってさまざまにくふうされた複合肥料の銘柄がある。
