...Tom Tiddler's Territory, Prisoner's Base, and Infernal Couple are advanced variations of tag, similar to the Japanese Shuku-oni in that the escapee has a safe zone, and are said to be imitation games of war. The Wolf Has Come is an imitation game of pastoralism, but the way it is played is similar to this one. In Europe, other variations of tag, such as French Tag, Monkey-hitting, and Fox, are played, and in the East, games are known in China, Korea, Borneo, and other places.
