...The recently excavated Nishigamo tile kiln complex is a large group consisting of several groups, and played an important role in the construction of the capital. The Kishibe tile kiln in Suita City is one of the kilns involved in the early construction of the palace, and it has been discovered that it contains a climbing kiln and a rostre-type flat kiln, the former of which produced green-glazed tiles and green-glazed pottery. Recent excavations have also revealed the Mutsu Kunikan kiln, which was involved in the construction of Taga Castle in the Tohoku region.
