A 6th century medium. The ancestor of the Ogami clan. It is said that in the 29th year of the reign of Emperor Kinmei (568), the spirit of Emperor Ojin, who appeared as a great bodhisattva in Makimine, Usa County, Buzen Province (Oita Prefecture), was enshrined at Takai Hachiman Shrine (Usa City).
