A manor in Tagawa County, Dewa Province. It is believed to have covered a wide area from the eastern half of Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture to the northwestern part of neighboring Higashitagawa County. It was the domain of Chokodo. The annual tax was 100 ryo of gold dust and two horses, but by the beginning of the 15th century, it had become 200 pieces of national silk. The land steward during the Kamakura period is believed to have been the Oizumi clan (Muto clan), and during the Nanboku-cho period, Uesugi Noriaki held the position.
