Aika - Ouka

This is the central district of Taki Town, Taki County, in the central-southern part of Mie Prefecture. Formerly Aika Town. Located on the right bank of the middle reaches of the Kushida River, this area is the site of Aika Town in the Wamyōshō. Since the Middle Ages, it has flourished as a post town on the Kushida River water transport and the Kumano Kaido (National Route 42). JR Kisei Main Line Aika Station is located here, and Taki New Town has been developed near the station.

三重県中南部、多気(たき)郡多気町の中心地区。旧相可町。櫛田(くしだ)川中流右岸にあり、『和名抄(わみょうしょう)』の相可郷(ごう)の地。中世以降、櫛田川水運と熊野街道（国道42号）の宿として栄えた。JR紀勢本線相可駅があり、駅近くには多気ニュータウンがつくられている。
