[1] Cherry blossoms. Ouka. Season: Spring. ※Man'yoshu (late 8th century) 5/829 "When the plum blossoms bloom and wither, will not the sakurabana bloom one after the other?" ※Kokinshu (905-914) Ka 349 "Sakura hana chirikahikumoreoiraku no komu to ifu naru michimagafu gani (Ariwara no Narihira ) ." [2] The word "sakura" refers to the blooming of the pillow cherry blossoms, and is used to refer to "prosperous young girl " (meaning a young and beautiful young girl). ※Man'yoshu (late 8th century) 13/3309 "Azalea flowers, a roaring young girl , a sakurabana sakae young girl"
