At Oiwake, on the outskirts of the post station, it branches off from the Ome Kaido and serves as the first post station on both routes. It is two ri (less than 8 km) away from Edo Nihonbashi, and two ri away from the next post station to the west, Shimotakaido on the Koshu Do, and 20 cho (more than 2 km) away from Nakanomura on the Ome Kaido. …
