Head of the Kishizawa school of Tokiwazu shamisen. The first Tokiwazu Mojitayu's shamisen player was the first Sasaki Ichizo, but after Ichizo's death in 1768 (Meiwa 5), a dispute arose over the succession, and the Sasaki school broke away from Mojitayu. Instead, the first Kishizawa Shikisa became Mojitayu's shamisen player. (1) The first (1730-1783, Kyoho 15-Tenmei 3) A disciple of Miyakoji Kazumatayu's shamisen player Uwasa Koshikibu, he initially followed the Sasaki Koryu Tokiwazu Shizutayu, but later became Mojitayu's shamisen player, and in 1769 he became a standing shamisen player and changed his name to Kishizawa Koshikibu. 常磐津節三味線方岸沢派家元。初世常磐津文字太夫の三味線方は初世佐々木市蔵であったが,1768年(明和5)市蔵没後後継者争いが起こり,佐々木派は文字太夫と決別,代わって初世岸沢式佐が文字太夫の三味線方となった。(1)初世(1730‐83∥享保15‐天明3) 宮古路数馬太夫の三味線方右和佐古式部(うわさこしきぶ)の門弟で,初め佐々木古流・常磐津志妻太夫に従っていたが,のちに文字太夫の三味線方となり,69年に立三味線となって岸沢古式部と改名。
